Section 8 Non-Profit · Giridih, Jharkhand
Reviving Sohrai art, restoring everyday dignity.
Sadupyog Foundation works with tribal and rural communities in Jharkhand on art & culture preservation, clean drinking water, housing, and human rights — building from the ground up, mural by mural, well by well.
What we work on
Four threads, one fabric
Our programs are chosen by what the communities of Giridih actually ask for — not by what's easiest to fund.
Art & Culture
Reviving Sohrai & Khovar mural traditions through women's collectives, training, and documentation.
Drinking Water
Borewells, filtration points, and repair of defunct hand pumps across Giridih's villages.
Housing
Support for safe, weatherproof housing for families displaced or living in fragile structures.
Human Rights
Legal awareness camps and grievance support for tribal land, labour, and identity rights.
Our belief
A mural is a record. A well is a promise.
Sohrai art has been painted on Jharkhand's mud walls for generations during harvest — by hand, with earth pigments, without a single brush bought from a shop. We started Sadupyog Foundation believing that the same resourcefulness that built this art form can rebuild access to water, shelter, and rights, if it's backed properly.
We work directly with Gram Sabhas and local artisans rather than around them — every program starts with a conversation in the village it's meant to serve.
